If you email me, the response you get is ME personally. If you call me, it’s me answering the phone. If you Skype me, it’s me typing on the other end.

I have been involved in a few products and programs lately where one of the benefits touted was “one on one” consulting with the guru. Of course after you pay and are in the program you either get canned responses from assistants or one-line answers that may or may not be the from the guru himself.

I understand that people are busy and there are some top paid gurus who cannot respond to everyone personally but that is far and few between. Take the extra 2 minutes and write the response yourself and build a REAL relationship. The effects will be exponential and you can KNOW that you are not shorting people on getting the real deal.

Lots of people are upset over these changes but I am happy. I think it forces us as business owners to build and form REAL relationships with people centered around our business. Stop trying to treat everyone as an opt-in and focus on building a real relationship.

One thing I have done in my business is never outsource communication to any of my clients. If you email me, I respond personally. If you skype me, it’s ME, not an assistant. I think with the busy pace of society it is too easy to lose the personal touch and feel of a close relationship. I would rather know my clients by name, not number.

Focus on helping people achieve their goals and you will build a lasting business based on real relationships, not opt-ins!

I need some testimonials for the new website and figured I would offer some free consultations in exchange for testimonials. They can be positive or negative, I would never want testimonials that weren’t true, so please be honest.

It’s finally here… the new site design. You know what is sad? I am still not happy with it! But, I know that I needed to get back to blogging and writing content so we’ll stick with it for now. I need an updated picture on the homepage too, oh well! On with the content.

My business and goals have kind of taken a different approach and that will be evident in the kind of content you see coming from me. The focus will be more generic in terms of SEO and growing your business online. Approaching Internet Marketing as a whole instead of little tidbits and pieces.
